Implant dentistry teaching in Harley Street
Guy’s College is a postgraduate dental education provider based at 18 Wimpole Street, in London’s Harley Street medical district.
The College was founded by Dr David Guy to provide high-quality clinical teaching in implant dentistry, with a strong focus on practical skills and on using the latest technological advances in operative dentistry. Our courses have been running for more than fifteen years, and many of our alumni have gone on to place and restore implants routinely in their own practices.
Rather than offering only a theoretical grounding, our courses combine lectures with hands-on practicals, live surgery and supervised clinical experience, so that dentists leave able to treat patients with confidence.

What makes our courses different
- Small-group teaching, with plenty of one-to-one time with Dr Guy
- Lectures, hands-on practicals and live surgery demonstrations
- Courses designed for general dental practitioners, including those new to implants
- Digital implant dentistry: DTX Implant Studio planning, guided surgery and X-Guide navigation
- Teaching based on the Nobel Biocare implant system
- Continued case support and mentoring after the course

Our Principal
Dr David Guy BDS (Wales), PG Cert Restorative Dentistry (Eastman), MSc Implant Dentistry (Warwick) is the College’s founder and Principal. He completed his MSc in Implant Dentistry at Warwick Medical School and his postgraduate certificate at the Eastman Institute, both with Distinction, and was the first person to be awarded a Fellowship of the British Society of Oral Implantology.
David taught on the MSc Implant Dentistry course at Warwick before founding the independent teaching facility that became Guy’s College. He teaches on every course personally.
Our teaching clinic
All lectures and clinical teaching take place at 18 Wimpole Street, a period building in the Harley Street medical district with modern, fully equipped dental surgeries where course patients can receive implant treatment.
