Who can apply?

Our courses are for registered dental professionals in good standing, with a BDS or equivalent degree and suitable professional indemnity. UK-based dentists should have completed vocational training or have equivalent experience.

Do I need any implant experience?

No. The Certificate in Implant Dentistry (Year 1) is designed for dentists with little or no prior implant experience. The Certificate in Advanced Implant Dentistry (Year 2) is for dentists who have completed the Certificate, or who already have significant implant experience.

Where are the courses held?

All teaching takes place at 18 Wimpole Street, London, in the Harley Street medical district.

How are the courses structured?

Each certificate course is 10 teaching days spread over one year: Saturdays for the Certificate in Implant Dentistry and Fridays for the Certificate in Advanced Implant Dentistry. Teaching combines lectures, hands-on practicals and live patient experience. See Course Dates for the next intake.

How much do the courses cost?

The Certificate in Implant Dentistry is £5,500 + VAT and the Certificate in Advanced Implant Dentistry is £6,500 + VAT. A £600 deposit reserves your place and the balance can be paid by monthly instalments. Full details are on our Fees & How to Apply page.

How do I gain the Diploma in Implant Dentistry?

The Diploma is a two-year programme made up of the Certificate in Implant Dentistry, the Certificate in Advanced Implant Dentistry and a clinical case submission. Dentists who have already completed one of our certificate courses can enrol on the remaining components. The Diploma fee is £13,500 + VAT.

Which implant system do you use?

We teach with the Nobel Biocare implant system. The Advanced course includes a 6-month licence for Nobel Biocare DTX Implant Studio planning software.

How many people are on each course?

We teach in small groups so you get plenty of one-to-one time. The Advanced course is limited to 8 participants.
